Dear OLS Choir Members:
As we near the end of this year, there are several celebrations that you are invited to participate in. Please read the following for more details. ALL SOULS' DAY The Commemoration of All the Faith Departed, also known as All Souls' Day, will be celebrated with a Mass on Saturday, November 2, at 8:00 AM. Please join in singing for this special Mass as remember all our loved ones who have passed away. In a special way, we remember those who served in our music ministry and now join the choirs in heaven. No rehearsal for this Mass. THANKSGIVING DAY This year, our annual Thanksgiving Day Mass is on Thursday, November 21, at 9:00 AM. Join us as together we give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed on us. Rehearsal will be on Sunday, November 24 at 2:30pm. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation. Please join us in singing for this special Mass on Monday, December 9, at 7:00 PM. No rehearsal for this Mass. CHRISTMAS DAY Join in singing for our Christmas Day Mass on Wednesday, December 25, at 8:00 AM. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday, December 11, at 7:00-8:00pm and Sunday, December 22, at 2:30-3:30pm. MARY, MOTHER OF GOD (NEW YEAR'S DAY) We begin the New Year with the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, celebrating Mass on Wednesday, January 1, at 9:00 AM. Please join us in singing for this special liturgy. No rehearsal for this Mass. We hope you are able to join us for these very special Masses!
