From Fr. Richard...
May is the month of Mary. As a parish named for Our Lady, we want to honor her in a special way. On Saturday, May 4, we begin celebrating Mass at 7:00 AM as we do Monday through Friday. As Saturday is the day of the week dedicated to Our Lady, it is appropriate that we begin Saturday morning Mass on the first Saturday of May. Mary never keeps us for herself; she always leads us closer to her Son, Jesus. For the month of May, why not make an extra effort to pray her rosary, all fo it or at least a part, either individually or as a family. Ask her to help us see how we can bring others to Jesus.

Please join in singing for the Installation Mass of Fr. Richard McNally as our pastor on Sunday, April 21, at 7:00 AM. We will have one rehearsal on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 PM. Click here for more info.
If you are in the Pastoral Council, Finance Committee, or on staff, you are still more than welcome to sing with the choir, though there is a part of the rite of installation that does involve your participation. Thanks! Thank you to our choir directors, choir members, and everyone who helped with the music for all our Triduum liturgical celebrations! As always, each of you play an instrumental part (no pun intended) in making our Music Ministry a ministry of prayer and leading others to prayer in our parish community. I'm a humbled at the incredible opportunity I have been given to serve as director of such a great ministry with a bunch of awesome and talented folks. May the joy and blessings of this Easter season be with you and your 'ohana!
Aloha, Kainoa P.S. The Easter breakfast was delicious!!! |
