Aloha and MAHALO to the Nacapuy's!

Rejoice Choir and OLS Praise Choir directors Russell and Cookie Nacapuy along with accompanist Millie Nacapuy say aloha to their choirs and their leadership role in our OLS Music Ministry at the end of this year.

For the past several decades, the Nacapuy's have given selflessly to the music ministry, forming the Rejoice Choir as well as the OLS Praise Choir (formerly known as the Children's Praise Choir and Teen Praise Choir).  Through their gift of music and service, they have undoubtedly contributed tremendously to the liturgical life of the parish as well as in so many other various facets of our community life.

The Nacapuy's are not moving away nor are they leaving the parish.  They simply needed some time and space especially as family needs have recently become much more necessary in their lives.  The music ministry and parish can only express utmost gratitude for their countless hours of dedication and decades of service to God's Church, and we wish them well in their future endeavors.  Our prayers will always remain with them and their 'ohana!

Sadly, Rejoice Choir will be disbanded following their last Mass on October 31.  The OLS Praise choir will be under the direction of Nicole Sullivan beginning in January.  Please keep all these changes in your prayers and continue to offer your support to all involved during this time of transition.
